How to book a visit

Bookings for school visits can be made for Mondays to Fridays during school hours. Visits can be for a whole day (typically 10am-2.30pm) or for half a day (10am-12pm / 1230pm-230pm). On fine days, lunches can be eaten on the lawn; when the weather isn't so fine, in our classroom.

A Teachers' Pack can now be downloaded (PDF/3.17MB). This will give you all the necessary information regarding a school visit.

Please note: Teachers are required to come for a preliminary visit to see the Garden, discuss the activities, make sure they fit the chosen topic(s) and to see the layout of the Garden and its facilites before making a booking.

It is also possible to do this at one of our Teachers' Evenings which will be held on 25th March, 30th June and 7th October from 4.15-6.15pm.
