How to book a visit

Bookings for school visits can be made for Mondays to Fridays during school hours. Visits can be for a whole day (10am-3pm) or for half a day (10am-12pm / 1pm-3pm). On fine days, lunches can be eaten on the lawn; when the weather isn't so fine, in our classroom..

Costs

• For primary schools, we charge £2.50 per student for a half day and £3.75 for a full day
• For secondary schools we charge £4 per student for a half day and £5 for a full day
• Outreach Package (us visiting your school with a follow-up visit to the Garden):
  • Full day = £300
  • Half day = £150
• Minimum charge is for 20 students.

Please note: Teachers are required to come for a preliminary visit to see the Garden, discuss the activities, make sure they fit the chosen topic(s) and to see the layout of the Garden and its facilites before making a booking.
