Nature-based activity days for family participation
‘Garden Safari’ for ages 6+ FULL
UP
Wednesday 29th October 2008, 1030am-2pm
Explore our Jungle Room and pond. Find out about carnivorous plants,
cacti and some of the other 5000 plant species growing here from around
the world. Then search the Garden for creatures - taking a closer
look at them using magnifying glasses. The day will include some art
and crafts too. You will also have the chance to plant a seed to take
away with you.

‘Creepy Crawling’ for ages 5+
Thursday 30th October 2008, 1030am-12 or 1-230pm
Discover something of the diverse world of animals with Vic Taylor
from MYNEWT ENTERPRISES who will bring his wonderful collection of
creatures including a hissing cockroach, giant millipede, corn snake
and a tree frog.
LUNCH: 12.00-12.45 (for the 29th). Please bring a packed
lunch and an adult
COST: £5 per person, per session (including
adults)
