Christmas Fair 2008
Sunday, 30th November 2008, 10am-4pm
The Christmas Fair presents a rare opportunity to see Chelsea Physic Garden in winter. It is a wonderful, festive occasion for the whole family with children's activities, a large selection of Christmas stalls and the opportunity to sample some of the finest mince pies in the land.
The Garden is also open for exploration, either on your own or on
a free guided tour. Highlights at this time of year include our fruiting
grapefruit, Australian Banksias and our fruiting pomegranate
plants.
All stalls are located in a very large heated marquee on the main
lawn, they include:
- Jewellery
- Toys
- Hand-made woollies
- Children's clothing
- Cashmere scarves
- Gloves, bags, shoes
- Foodstuffs, confectionery and much more
- Great Attractions for Children - including hands-on craft activities
- Mulled wine, mince pies, refreshments and lunches from our own in-house Tangerine Dream Café
Adults - £5.00; Students*, unemployed people* and children (5-15 years old)*- free (*with proof)
