Opening Times

The Garden is open to the public from midday on Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Bank Holiday Mondays from 1st April until 31st October.

Friends of the Garden have privileged access on weekdays throughout the year and on Sundays and Bank Holidays between April and October.

2010 Season: 1st April - 31st October

  • Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 12-5pm
  • Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays 12-6pm
  • Last admission 30 minutes before closing
Late Wednesday Openings of the Garden & Café, to coincide with our lecture series: 30th June to 1st September, midday-10pm with last admission at 8.30pm.
  • The Shop will close at 6pm on these evenings.
  • Special menu offer at the Cafe from 6.30pm on these evenings: £23 for three courses (excluding drinks & service)
The Café, Shop and Garden Tours* are available during public opening hours
*Garden Tours are subject to the availability of our volunteer guides

Café opening hours
The Café is open from 12.30pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays until 15 minutes before closing time.
