Visit the enchanting Chelsea Physic Garden for a special storytelling experience with Father Christmas.

Father Christmas will tell a story in our festive Science Themed Grotto. Children will receive a lovely gift, there will be an opportunity to take a picture with Father Christmas and after you will be able to explore our beautiful Garden at winter time.

Whilst at the Garden you can also participate in a eco-friendly Christmas decoration craft activity, enjoy a mulled wine or hot chocolate from The Physic Garden Café, and spend the rest of your day at London’s oldest botanic Garden.

Booking information:

Tickets are £12.50 per child (includes gift) and £10.50 for accompanying adults & this includes your entry to the Garden on that day.

Father Christmas is visiting Chelsea Physic Garden on Saturday 2, Sunday 3, Saturday 9, Sunday 10, Saturday 16 & Sunday 17 December.

Each day you can book a timeslot for Father Christmas Storytelling from 10:00am – 3:50pm. Timeslots sell out quickly and unfortunately we do not operate a waiting list.

The time indicated on your ticket is for when you will be seeing Father Christmas, please arrive at least 10 minutes before your time slot to be greeted by one of our festive helpers.

Father Christmas will be situated in our indoor Science Themed Grotto. You may have to wait outside, so please dress appropriately for the weather and bring an umbrella if needed.

If you would like to book tickets for people in your party who won’t be seeing Father Christmas, please book through our normal admissions or you can purchase tickets on the day.

Please note:

• Children must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult
• All attendees must purchase a ticket in advance (babies up to 18months old can attend for free)
• There is no discount for Friends of the Garden
• Early booking is strongly recommended as places are limited
