Inspired by the myriad of plants that are the ingredients in teas and tisanes, wines, cordials, beers and herbal brews, 'An Elixir of Letters' will slake the thirst of art lovers and gardening enthusiasts alike.

Martin Cook was one of 16 artists invited to Chelsea Physic Garden to acquaint themselves with our unique history, with Martin's piece 'Enjoy Life' listed as number 4 on the exhibition's map.

For years, Martin has exhibited at the Bohun Gallery, Henley-on-Thames, and more recently at The Scottish Gallery in Edinburgh. His early commissions included projects with Scottish artist Ian Hamilton Finlay.

He will give a talk on his work followed by a tour of the exhibition at 2.30pm on the 11th of July.

Free on entry to the garden (£10.50 adults/£6.95 children). Book tickets below as places are limited.
