Inspired by the myriad of plants that are the ingredients in teas and tisanes, wines, cordials, beers and herbal brews, 'An Elixir of Letters' will slake the thirst of art lovers and gardening enthusiasts alike.

Rachel Gundry was one of the artists invited to Chelsea Physic Garden to acquaint themselves with our unique history, with Rachel's Apple Bird Bath and "A Laughing Pomegranate" pieces listed as 6 and 7 on the exhibition's map.

Inspired by poetry, the collaborative process of working with a client and her response to a particular place, Rachel always starts with a drawing before the transformation into sculptural form through carving.

She will give a talk on her work followed by a tour of the exhibition at 2.30pm on the 15th of August.

Free on entry to the Garden (£10.50 adults/£6.95 children). Book tickets below as places are limited.
