To celebrate the launch of this year’s batch of Chelsea Physic Garden honey, Today programme presenter, broadcaster and keen apiarist Martha Kearney joins Gardener’s Question Time’s Matthew Wilson to talk about her beekeeping escapades.

Martha began her journalistic career in radio and worked as Lobby Correspondent for LBC/IRN, before joining Channel 4’s Week in Politics team. She has been political editor of Newsnight, presented Radio 4’s Woman's Hour for nearly a decade and The World at One for 11 years.

Since 2008, Martha has made a number of BBC programmes highlighting the plight of bees including Who Killed the Honey Bee? and The Wonder of Bees, a four-part documentary on beekeeping from the end of winter to the honey harvest.

Between 6-7pm, there will be the first opportunity to buy a jar of this year’s Chelsea Physic Garden honey in our shop.

The talk will begin at 7pm, with supper served at 8.15pm. If you book a ticket including supper, please state whether you would like the meat or vegetarian option as a main course.
