To make a kokedama, the root balls of small plants are wrapped in moss. Your kokedama can be used to hang from trees or in a cool place indoors.

During our Mother's Day kokedama making class we will use pretty seasonal spring flowering plants! We will also provide ribbon or string to complete the look you want.

The word kokedama translates as ‘moss ball’. Japan’s answer to the hanging basket, kokedama are simple, fun and make a very sweet, unusual gift for Mother's Day.

Please note you will have to pay to get into Chelsea Physic Garden alongside the cost of attending - however, if you are a "Friend of the Garden" you will only need to pay to attend the workshop.

Note: We are holding this class in our Gallery and there are steps up to the room. If you have any mobility issues please let us know in advance.

We've added a second workshop due to popular demand BOOK HERE Mother's Day Kokedama Making Afternoon  Early booking advised
