Tree Identification seminar with a focus on leaves
Thursday 12th July 12-4pm
With Letta Jones, Lecturer in Horticulture and Garden History.
This will help you identify trees more easily and get to know more about special specimens within The Garden. We will begin in the classroom with a practical session studying leaves and other details of trees helpful with identification followed by a tree walk in the Garden to put into practice all you have learned. You will develop skills and confidence to observe the key features which help to identify trees generally, as well as being acquainted with a some of the magnificent specimens at Chelsea Physic Garden.
£37 price covers materials, refreshments and Garden entry.

Letta Jones, MA is a Landscape Horticulturalist who lectures in Horticulture and the History of Gardens. She was a garden guide at the Chelsea Physic Garden for 18 years and regularly contributes to its learning programme to this day. She teaches at the South London Botanical Institute, City Lit, Denman and Woodbrooke Colleges, at Knuston Hall and Marlborough College Summer School. A Green Flag Parks Judge, she also runs her own gardens study tours abroad.
