Autumn at the Garden

Since 1673, Chelsea Physic Garden has been a place of discovery, learning and connection with the natural world. Home to nearly 5,000 medicinal, edible and useful plants, the Garden has inspired curiosity and shared knowledge about the remarkable world of plants for more than 350 years. Autumn is the perfect time to visit, with our full programme of events spanning botanical, folkloric and artistic workshops, tours and talks.

Open Sunday to Friday, you can join a free guided tour, stop by the shop and café. We’re only 15 minutes from Sloane Square or Victoria Station.

Open: Sunday – Friday, 11am – 5pm.
Tickets: £5 – £15.

The Golden Season

As summer fades, Chelsea Physic Garden takes on a new kind of beauty. Leaves turn shades of gold, amber and russet, late-flowering plants bring bursts of colour, and the changing season reveals new sights across the Garden.

Chelsea History Festival

Chelsea History Festival is back with a huge programme of events across different iconic Chelsea venues. To celebrate, the Garden will be hosting an Open Weekend and will be open free of charge on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October, giving everyone the opportunity to explore London’s oldest botanic Garden.
