Durban Curry Club​ - 22 & 23 October 7pm

Join us at Chelsea Physic Garden for a dazzling evening of vibrant, punchy flavours showcasing KwaZulu-Natal’s distinctive style of curry.

Ex River Café Chef Steve Beadle and wife Marilyn Chelliah Beadle, who hails from South Africa, are the team behind Durban Curry Club. They have devised two authentic, mouth-watering menus for this unique occasion.

Want to dine in style? Our £60 tickets include a lavish five-course tasting menu with exotic cocktail. Think monkfish and king prawn curry with turmeric rice, Durban lamb shank curry, dahl and a sumptuous pudding of sweet vermicelli with cardamom, cinnamon and condensed milk.

Prefer to wander the gardens and find your own place to sit? The informal £35 per person tickets include rich red Durban butter chicken curry with all the accompaniments, plus samosas to start and dessert of gulab jam with pomegranate and pistachio. Vegetarians can pre-book a Kashmiri chilli aubergine curry.
