Family: Chocolate Making Workshop
Step into Chelsea Physic Garden this autumn for a family-friendly chocolate-making workshop inspired by plants, flavour and the fascinating story of cacao.
Discover how cacao beans grow, where chocolate comes from and how different plants can be used to create delicious flavours. You’ll then design your own chocolate treats using a selection of herbs, spices and flavourings, choosing from an assortment of fun-shaped moulds.
Experiment with taste, scent and decoration as you create personalised chocolates to take home.
What to Expect
Begin with a playful introduction to the cacao plant and its journey from bean to chocolate.
You’ll smell and taste different botanical ingredients before choosing your favourite flavour combinations and creating your own chocolate treats. Then you’ll be taken on a tour of the Garden to see our very own cacao tree.
Every ticket holder will have the opportunity to take part, so grown-ups can get creative too!
