Dawn Chorus Walk

Sunday 13 April 2025, 6:30am-8am
£35

Enter the walls of London’s oldest botanical garden on a spring morning and join us for a Dawn Chorus Walk and Talk.

For three and a half centuries, Chelsea Physic Garden has been home to thousands of plants, providing a sanctuary for both nature and numerous birds.

On Sunday 13 April, you will have the chance to experience the Garden before the City awakes and as the sun rises to listen to the Dawn Chorus come to life.

Join ornithologist Bill Haines for a guided walk, where you’ll learn to identify native and migratory songbirds by their calls.

As you explore the Garden, listen to the sounds of birds establishing their territory, attracting mates, and calling to their flocks. It’s one of spring’s best wildlife spectacles, offering a chance to hear the dawn chorus in its full glory. A unique experience well worth getting up early for.
