Creepy Crafternoon: Pumpkin People
After a smash-hit, sold-out workshop last year, the Pumpkin People are returning to Chelsea Physic Garden!
Join us as we cast our creative spells and magic up another menacing crowd of pumpkins, gourds and squashes. Give your character a weird face, wonky turnip ears, a misshapen carrot nose and a spectacularly bad hair day before adding glitter, spiders and other fiendish finishing touches.
With no carving involved, this is a playful and family-friendly way to transform seasonal produce into a wonderfully strange character of your own. Come in fancy dress, we will be, and let the creative mayhem begin!
What to Expect
Choose your pumpkin character and bring it to life using vegetables, craft materials and plenty of imagination.
Our facilitators will be on hand to help you develop your design and assemble your peculiar new friend. There will be no pumpkin carving, making this a relaxed activity for families to enjoy together.
Small prizes and Halloween treats will be available for all participants.
What’s Included
- A pumpkin, gourd or squash character to decorate
- Seasonal vegetables and creative embellishments
- All crafting materials, tools and equipment

Who Is It For?
