Family Halloween: Trick or Treat Sweet Making
Trick or — oh who’s kidding? Of course the answer is treat! Get ready for the spookiest night of the year and discover the plants that make and flavour the sweetest part of Halloween in this playful family workshop at Chelsea Physic Garden.
Set off through the Autumnal Garden in search of plants used in sweets, medicines and midnight feasts. From fragrant herbs and seasonal spices, flavourful fruits to tropical treasures growing under glass, we’ll follow a trail of scents, stories and surprising flavours.
You’ll then return to our workshop space to concoct your own Halloween sweet treats. Follow recipes to measure and mix up some truly unique garden-inspired confections: toffee apple biscuit bites and armpit fudge!
