By knot of one, the spell’s begun…

Step into Chelsea Physic Garden for a magical family-friendly workshop and learn how plants, fibre crafts and magic have been woven together through folklore and history.

Children will cast their own knot spell to help manifest their goals, will discover the power of plant fibres, and bind their intentions with a friendship bracelet, made with the mysterious art of trollen braiding.

The workshop includes a guided tour of the garden, to explore the wonders of natural fibres, and discover the plants wise women and witches have used to heal, help or maybe to hex!

All materials will be provided, and each participant will take home their own hag stone charm knot spell and braided friendship bracelet.

This workshop is suitable for children aged 7 and above.

Booking information:

Tickets are £20 for adults and £15 for children. Tickets include entry to the Garden on the day of the workshop.

This workshop is recommended for children aged 8+.

A ticket must be purchased for every person attending the workshop, including children. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult ticket-holder.

Please note:

One person will be admitted per ticket and each participant will have the opportunity to make a bracelet.

There is no discount for Friends of the Garden.
