Kokedama, meaning “moss ball” in Japanese, is the art of growing a plant in a sculpted ball of soil wrapped in moss. These unusual living ornaments can be displayed on a tray or hung like strange botanical fruit.

During the workshop, you’ll create your own kokedama using a carnivorous plant such as a Venus flytrap or pitcher plant. These sinister specimens lure, trap and consume their prey, making them perfect botanical companions for the Halloween season.
