Garden historian Deborah Trentham delves deep into the fascinating history of gardens by examining plant movement and its colonial past.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A with the public.

This Talk is part of our Chelsea Physic’s Garden 350 Anniversary Year and Chelsea History Festival 2023.

The Speaker:
Deborah Trentham

Deborah Trentham has been teaching garden history for 20 years. She was the Historic Gardens judge for the Society of Garden Designers Awards for five years and has published numerous articles in magazines and periodicals. Her book, Botanic Gardens of the World, is due to be published in September 2023.
