Tinctures and Oxymels Making Workshop - Chelsea Physic Garden

Tinctures and Oxymels Making Workshop

Friday 25 September 2026, 2pm-4pm
£40

Spend an autumnal afternoon in London’s ancient medicinal garden in this hands-on workshop led by Natasha, a medical herbalist with over a decade of helping women reconnect with the healing power of plants.

In this immersive session, you’ll explore a selection of carefully chosen medicinal herbs, learning how to transform them into potent remedies using traditional methods. Discover the art and science behind tinctures (alcohol extracts) and oxymels (honey and vinegar extracts) and how each preparation offers unique benefits for supporting your health and wellbeing.

Guided by your senses and intuition, you’ll deepen your understanding of how different plants interact with the body, while gaining practical skills you can use at home. Each participant will create two of their own bespoke herbal remedies to take away, beautifully bottled.

This workshop is about more than making medicine, it’s about building a meaningful relationship with plants, reconnecting with your body and gaining confidence in natural, effective ways to support your health.

She ran a successful clinic for over 10 years helping with menstrual complaints from menarche to menopause before writing her book ‘Your Period Handbook’. Now she has a team that takes patients while she focuses on product development and community relationships.
