Learn and explore The Garden was first established by the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries of London over three centuries ago in order to grow medicinal plants and train apprentices in their identification and use. To this day education is at the heart of the Garden’s work, we aim to connect people to plants providing an inspirational and creative experience. Schools and Outreach Book a school visit, we cover a wealth of topics. We can also arrange for the Garden’s Education Department come to you in one of our Outreach visits. Family Activity Days Throughout the school holidays why not join our Family Activity Days? Walks, Talks and Workshops This season’s programme of Walks, Talks and Workshops is the Garden’s most diverse to date. Learn about propagation, living medicine, try your hand at textile basketry and much more! You can also book one of the Thursday Supper Talks which will feature experts in their field exploring aspects of the world of plants. Make the most of your evening and enjoy supper at Tangerine Dream Cafe before or after the talks. We are currently working on a series of talks of this sort for 2018.
