Jack and the Beanstalk
Fee Fi Fo Fum, join in with story telling fun with this interactive, re-imagined version of Jack and the Beanstalk, with a theme of environmental citizenship and making good choices.
The children will learn to identify the different parts of a plant, what they need to grow, and the importance of plants to everyday life. Your visit will include a calming, sensory walk around the garden, where children will explore why nature matters, and how small actions can make a big difference. Students will also get to plant their own seed to take away with them.
Learning Objectives:

- Discover plants in the garden with different uses and origins.
- Identify food that comes from plants.
- Appreciate the diversity of plant life.
- Understand that we can all play a role in helping protect our planet.
- Feel empowered to make small changes to help protect plants, animals and our environment.
Important session information:
Please be aware that schools’ sessions are usually either from 10am-12pm or 1pm-3pm. We will create an itinerary for you based on the availability of our Chelsea Physic Garden educators.
