Welcome to The Physic Garden café, a relaxing dining oasis looking over the Garden.

We have something to suit everyone’s taste, ranging from smaller snacks and sweet treats to a full, delicious sit-down lunch or our famous afternoon tea. Carefully crafted with the finest fresh and local produce from London’s artisan suppliers, the recipes draw inspiration from the Garden, resulting in menus that we are incredibly proud of.

The indoor restaurant offers a seasonal à la carte menu. For those who prefer a more relaxed environment, our casual terrace dining awaits. And that’s not all! Introducing the outdoor service area, for those wanting to take their culinary delights into the Garden. Handcrafted sausage rolls, seasonal quiches, big bowl salads, and open sandwiches await you.

Online booking is available for Friends only. If you book and you are not a Friend, you will be charged admission to the Garden.

Dining experiences

These dining events are operated by third-party caterers outside of the Garden’s regular opening hours. They are offered here because we believe that they will be of interest to our visitors and Friends.

Due to Government restrictions, there are currently no Dining experiences on offer. We hope to be able to bring you an exciting programme of events in the new year.
