Line Up:
Suave
Marc and Ashleigh have been playing in the London Jazz and Blues scene for over 10 years, and their new collaboration – Suave – shows of their love of technical interpretation, wild improvisation and the importance of fun in making music.
Think Ella and Louis, Bill and Jim, or Ellis and Joao. Throw in a little silliness à la Blossom Dearie or Anita O’Day, and a dash Joe Pass’s ferocity, and you’ve got Suave.
Daniel Kabakov
Pianist Daniel Kabakov is quickly making waves on the vibrant London music scene with his own blend of improvisation, contemporary styles, and a deep-rooted passion for the music. A versatile pianist with a solid foundation in jazz, Kabakov’s playing is characterised by its percussive approach to the piano, ethno-inspired harmonies, and modern-sounding improvised lines. More acts to follow
Karen Asprey and Marc Burguera
Karen Asprey and Marc Burguera met at a blues bar in London and discovered a shared love of jazz and Latin music. From that connection came Algo Bueno, an instrumental duo with a warm, melodic sound.
