Black History Month

This October, we are celebrating Black contributions to our knowledge of plants and medicine. Chelsea Physic Garden has a living collection of 4000 plants from all over the globe and for this workshop, our experienced facilitators will guide students in discovering plants around the garden that have meaningful connections to African and Caribbean heritage. Each pupil will receive an interactive booklet to encourage further exploration of the people, plants, and places that we are celebrating this Black History Month.

Workshops will be hosted from 1st October 2021. KS1, KS2 and KS3 workshops are 2 hours, either 10am – 12pm or 1pm – 3pm. One hour Reception and Nursery sessions are available.
