We are currently only offering three sessions that have been designed to maximise the use of our outdoor space and ensure that we are able to maintain social distancing. We can accommodate 30 pupils, however, in order to adhere to social distancing, it might be necessary to split the class into smaller groups, some of which will have self-led activities.

Secondary school visits

Secondary school groups are welcome to visit the Garden. Our varied collection and history make it an ideal space for studying biology, geography and even literature. We don’t currently offer any pre-planned sessions so encourage groups who wish to visit to fill out the enquiry form below to discuss a bespoke session.

    Learning for Home Schooled Groups

Chelsea Physic Garden has a well established educational programme that celebrates the natural world. We provide unique, fun and valuable learning experiences that, not only meet national curriculum requirements, but provide a memorable day out.

However, due to current government guidelines we cannot offer our full range of home-schooled group learning sessions. The education team at CPG are currently offering three half-day sessions that have been designed to maximise the use of our outdoor space and ensure that we are able to maintain social distancing.

We can accommodate up to 27 people, 15 children and 12 adults. However, in order to adhere to social distancing, it might be necessary to split classes into smaller groups, some of which will have self-led activities.
