The World Around Us – Free Assemblies for Autumn and Winter 2025
Inspire young minds with a free biodiversity assembly. Thanks to generous donations made through our Green Horizons Appeal.
Curriculum-linked session for EYFS, KS1 & KS2 – available to be delivered in class or as a year group assembly.
Looking to enrich your science provision with a memorable, high-impact learning experience? Our free biodiversity session is designed to spark curiosity, support STEM learning, and get students thinking scientifically about the natural world living right on their doorstep and beyond.
Focusing on habitats and urban biodiversity, this engaging assembly explores how a wide range of animals—from birds and bats to beetles, butterflies and beyond—adapt to survive in their environments. Through real-world examples and interactive discussion, pupils are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, and connect classroom learning and prior knowledge with the world around them.
Suitable for individual classes or whole year groups, the session is easily delivered in your existing setting. It can be adapted to suit EYFS, KS1, or KS2 learners, ensuring relevance and age-appropriate content throughout, with a focus on key working scientifically skills.
Please let us know of any specific requirements when booking. Sessions can be tailored for EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
