Step into the magic of London’s oldest botanic garden after hours during our exclusive late openings, taking place every Tuesday throughout August.

For the first of these special evenings, we’ll be delving into the nature of the Garden itself. Join ecologist Connor Butler for a fascinating look at the often-overlooked wildlife that calls the Garden home. From liverworts and lichens to woodlice and springtails, discover the intricate web of life thriving just beneath the surface.

  Equipped with nets, discover what lies beneath the water’s surface in our tank pond.

  A second chance to join the guided walk.

Of course, you’re also welcome to simply enjoy the Garden at your leisure. Grab a drink and a light bite to eat at the Physic Garden Café, wander through our collection of over 5,000 plants, visit the historic glasshouses, or find a quiet corner to sit with a book. However you choose to spend your summer evening, the Garden is yours to enjoy.
