Herbs for Brain Health

Sunday 25 February 2024, 11:30am-1:00pm
£35

How can we keep our brains healthy? And what part do herbs have to play in our brain health?

With Neurodegenerative diseases seemingly becoming more prevalent this class offers a look at how plants have been used for centuries to keep our brains healthy, as well as examining how plants are at the forefront of drug care in neurodegenerative illnesses.

The easiest way to incorporate their goodness is through food and Maya will be demonstrating recipes on how to easily utilise herbs every day in our diet for good brain health.

Not only will you delve into the history and usage of these plants, but you will learn how best to utilise them both in the kitchen and the garden. During this class, you will also have the opportunity to explore the Physic Garden where Maya will take you to our neurological plants and see for yourself how gardens can be grown for healing.
