Be inspired by seasonal botanical subjects and learn how to portray them in ink. Using observational drawing from life, you will be guided in all aspects of drawing your chosen subject, from structure through to making it look three dimensional on the paper.

Ink is often used for scientific botanical illustration, but it can also be used for more spontaneous drawing approaches, using fine line pens, which are provided as part of this workshop. Come and enjoy a day of botanical drawing and mark-making, concluding with taking home your own concertina sketchbook.

Tickets are £60 per participant.

• This event will take place in our first floor Gallery space, which unfortunately is not wheelchair accessible.
• Lunch is not included. Doors open at 10:00am. Event starts 10:30am.
• Drawing material is provided for each participant, unless you would like to bring your own along.
