Step into the darker side of the plant world this Halloween at Chelsea Physic Garden with a special Carnivorous Kokedama making workshop.
Kokedama, meaning moss ball in Japanese, are plants grown in a sculpted ball of soil wrapped in moss. They can be hung like strange fruit or placed on trays as living ornaments.
In this workshop you will craft your own kokedama using carnivorous plants such as Venus Flytraps and Pitcher plants. These sinister specimens lure, trap, and consume their prey, making them the perfect botanical companions for the season. A creation both beautiful and curious to take home.
This workshop is suitable for all ages. All materials will be provided and your ticket includes entry to the Garden for the day.
