The Physic Garden Café

Nestled within the tranquil surroundings of Chelsea Physic Garden, The Physic Garden Café offers a delightful dining experience that celebrates the changing seasons. Open daily from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM (closed on Saturdays), the café serves a variety of dishes crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, many inspired by the garden’s own herbs and plants.

Whether you’re looking for a relaxed sit-down lunch surrounded by nature or a light snack to take away as you explore the grounds, the café provides a welcoming space for all visitors. With comfortable seating both indoors and outdoors, it’s the perfect spot to pause and enjoy a peaceful break in one of London’s most historic gardens.

Service times:
Lunch: 12pm – 2.30pm.

Afternoon Tea: 2.00pm – 4pm (Garden closes at 5pm).

To visit our café, all guests must have valid Garden admission.
