Calling all little monsters and their grown-up ghouls! Get into the Halloween spirit with a hands-on messy play session in Chelsea Physic Garden.

Children can touch, squish, scoop and splat their way through a range of Halloween-inspired sensory activities. Our tuff trays will be filled with natural materials to explore using different tools and utensils, encouraging curiosity, creativity and a playful connection with the natural world.

What to Expect

Children will be free to explore different textures, colours and natural materials through open-ended sensory play. Expect plenty of opportunities to mix, mould and make a marvellous mess, with none of the cleaning up at home!

Activities will take place in our Outdoor Classroom, so please dress for the weather. This is a messy play session and we recommend that children wear old or easily washable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.

Who Is It For?

This workshop is designed for children aged 5 and under. No previous experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to get messy!

All children must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult throughout the session.
